Updated anxiety research protocol

Below is an amended research protocol describing University of Wisconsin–Madison Psychiatry Professor Ned Kalin’s plans to study the biological underpinnings of anxiety and depression disorders in monkeys.

The protocol, which reflects changes in study design brought on by results from a pilot study, was approved Jan. 2, 2016 by an institutional animal care and use committee. Black boxes in the document cover personal and security information redacted in order to protect the privacy and safety of staff and students, and the security of individuals and university research and property.
