Veterinary medical officers from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service visited the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus Aug. 27, 2013, investigating complaints made to USDA by the Alliance For Animals and the Environment accusing UW–Madison primate researchers of violating the federal Animal Welfare Act.
USDA’s inspectors found no violations.
